About This Project
The owners needed a fourth bedroom but did not want to lose garden space to a rear extension, so the loft was the obvious place to gain the room.
We built a full-width rear dormer with two Velux windows to the front elevation, creating a generous double bedroom with a dedicated en-suite. A new staircase was formed over the existing flight to keep the landing arrangement sensible.
While the loft was underway we also refurbished the first floor, including a new family bathroom and full redecoration throughout.
